Thanks, Gesine. It was a much bigger cut than I expected. But at this stage it's only a bit sore, so it's easier than the ones on my back. After the local anaesthetic - that was so bad in the soft tissue of the arm - nothing could hurt more. I doubt that it is a problem. I've only had one skin cancer some years back - well, I have a couple of superficial ones on my face that can be burnt off soon, but nothing bad - so I'm expecting this to be no problem either. It's a good thing out of the way, though.
